In arguably the biggest political upset of the year, Joe Miller claimed the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate when incumbent GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski conceded Tuesday evening. The last time socialist Barack Hussein Obama had an Oval Office address it was dry and uninspiring. Last night’s speech on Iraq again was dry and uninspired. Obama the community organizer was taking all of the credit for a military success he had nothing to do with. An armed man carrying an explosive device is holding at least one person hostage at the Discovery Channel headquarters building in Maryland. A SWAT team was dispatched to the Silver Spring, Md. scene, and the suspect, an Asian male, was being monitored in the building’s lobby via closed circuit television cameras. Employees were evacuated from the building as well as nearby areas, Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Angela Cruz told the Washington Post....continued
