CO2 Is Not A Pollutant

To quote a National Geographic article on global warming, “The gas responsible for the most warming is carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Other contributors include methane released from landfills and agriculture (especially from the digestive systems of grazing animals), nitrous oxide from fertilizers, gases used for refrigeration and industrial processes, and the loss of forests that would otherwise store CO2.” I have been listening to the left of the political spectrum decry CO2 as a pollutant since the debate began over President Obama’s promotion to pass a “Cap and Trade” piece of legislation. The premise of the legislation would be to tax those persons/organizations/companies which create more CO2, and thus pollute the environment..more...
